Inflammation Top Reason for Drinking VaNu Daily According to User Survey

Inflammation reduction and alleviated joint/muscle pain received the most votes as the top reason that daily VaNu users continue to drink VaNu every day.

The O’Neal Strategy Group along with Vanu-Health.com conducted a VaNu user research study with the goal of learning the top perceived benefits experienced by VaNu users that drink the product every day. Many VaNu users report more than one benefit when given the chance.

However when asked to choose just one reason they keep drinking it daily, three reasons surfaced to the top and accounted for about 67% of the VaNu users surveyed:

Alleviated joint/muscle pain and inflammation (selected by 25% of users)

Better nutrition (selected by 23% of users)

Increased energy, stamina and vitality (selected by 19% of users)

When given the opportunity to select multiple reasons for staying on the product, the most frequently selected reasons (in addition to the three listed above) were:

Weight loss

Improved sleep

Improved mood

Wellness/Disease avoidance

Increased mental focus

Boosted immune system

Better digestion

The Acai berry is rapidly gaining a reputation for being the best all-natural anti-inflammatory available. But VaNu’s inflammation and joint pain capabilities also include Cacao beans, long known for their effectiveness as an anti-inflammatory.

Other Acai juice blends use “fruit fillers”, like banana or pomegranate, loaded with sugar, which actually work to counteract the antioxidant benefits. Instead of adding fruit juice, VaNu blends Acai with other super foods, such as Goji berry, Cupuacu, Camu-Camu, and Cacao beans along with a dash of vanilla and agave nectar for taste. VaNu has no preservatives, stimulants, added sugar or artificial sweeteners.

Keywords: Acai, antioxidants, joint pain, inflammation, anti-inflammation, Energy, stamina, nutrition, vitality, muscle pain, Cupuaca, Camu-Camu, Cacao, Goji, Cupuacu.

Acai Pill Scam Deepens

WSYR in Syracuse has a news story on the acai pill scam:

Here's how the scam works. The site claims you need to pay a shipping fee to get your "free" sample, but once you give up you credit or debit card number, they instantly charge you not only for that shipping, but for a monthly membership to their site.

If you don't realize and cancel, they'll then keep charging you for the membership fee, plus more of the medication!

We post these strories so that people understand the risks out there. Any new food fad has a likihood of attracting predators. Be careful.

Fountain of Life is different. You can get our product with no strings attached. No tricks, no gimmicks.

Study Shows Acai Berry May Kill Cancer Cells

The famous Gracie Jiu-Jitsu family recommended eating acai before workouts, and soccer players have been using the fruit as a natural energy booster. With its popularity skyrocketing, acai's anti cancer potential is being researched.

Acai berries grow on palm trees in floodplain areas of the Amazon River. The berries are dark purple and about the size of a blueberry. Like blueberries, they are potent antioxidants.
What Makes Acai a Cancer Fighting Super Food?
Free radicals are harmful molecules caused by everything from pesticides and cigarette smoke to exercising. They can damage cells and even DNA. Free radical damage has been shown to be associated with a range of diseases such as arthritis, Alzheimer's disease, and Cancer.
Nature's antidote to free radicals come in the form of fruits and vegetables known as antioxidants, which strengthen cells and defends against free radicals. The amount of antioxidant power that a food has is known as its ORAC (Oxygen Radical Absorbance Capacity score).
The Acai berry is one of the highest. Its ORAC score is 167, compared with 32 for blueberries and 14 for apples. The increase in high antioxidant foods is essential to combating the skyrocketing rate of cancer and other diseases.
Acai May Kill Cancer Cells
A study at The University of Florida discovered that acai berries caused human cancer cells to self destruct 86% of the time in a culture. While this research has only been shown in a cell culture model, it is likely that it will have the same effect on human beings.
The researchers plan to continue identifying how acai berries can prevent cancer. The assistant professor Talcott says "We are just beginning to understand the complexity of the acai berry and its health-promoting effects." Studies at the University of Florida are also underway to determine the acai berry's benefits on blood pressure, cholesterol levels, heart health and related health indicators.
While the acai berry hasn't been proven to cure cancer, the research certainly looks promising and at the very least it is helpful in preventing cancer and other illnesses. Plus, it tastes delicious.
http://news.ufl.edu/2006/01/12/berries/
http://www.acaiberrystudies.com/

http://www.naturalnews.com/025403.html

The Power of Berries

Tuesday, January 27, 2009

Studies show that many berries are packed with nutrients and may be a weapon against cancer. (David Karp for The New York Times)

Several studies show that people who eat diets high in fruits and vegetables have lower cancer rates. Now a large body of research suggests that berries may be among the most potent cancer-fighting fruits.

In numerous laboratory studies, researchers at Ohio State University have found that black raspberries inhibit the development of oral, esophageal and colon cancers in rats. Some human studies have also suggested a benefit from berry consumption. In one small study of patients with familial adenomatous polyposis, a genetic condition that raises risk for colon cancer, patients given black raspberry extract had up to 59 percent fewer rectal polyps than those taking a placebo; the findings were published in November’s Cancer Prevention Research journal.
